See Their Worth

'Go conquer the world. The sky is not your limit. It is just stepping stone' that's what her mama said to her.

She packed her bags and was ready to begin the journey. She had some big dreams and nothing would deter her. She was focused. She was elated she was doing this.

She would leave a legacy. The world would know and hear of her exploits.

She figured out that this was a journey. Her purpose. Her vision. Her dreams. Her everything. She saw herself stepping on the skies and became full of herself.

Were others even going to match to her?  Who were they? What were they even offering? 

Wait!!!

Isn't that our story too often.

We have big dreams and visions and we look down on people and always full of ourselves. We feel we are the masters and even change our walking style.

It is high time to realize two is better than one.

I am because of you.

It is time we figured out soon that people are placed around us for a purpose. For the purpose for you to reach your destiny.

We need those who have stepped the skies before us to tell us how hot is if it at all it is. Learn from their mistakes and make our journey easier.

We need those in the same 'level' to keep us on toes not out of competing but complimenting.

We need those who are seemingly not in our 'level' and maybe sometimes looked down upon. They make the journey easier because they make the environment conducive for you. It provides room for mentorship

The idea is not about walking fast but walking far. You do the latter when you walk with people.

Maybe today, you need to look at people you around from a different perspective. Maybe you need to look at that driver and tout that stink according to your standard and realize he plays a role in your life. They take you to your office where you grind to fulfill your dreams.

That homeless man who begs you food to make you count your blessings. He makes you figure out, you're not really lucky but blessed.

That lady who is not from your tribe but has made it and you can bring out lessons from. Tribe, color, race doesn't matter.

That janitor you keep scolding cleans your office to give it an ambiance to work in. So stop throwing trash on the floor because it is not your responsibility to clean.

Stop being bitter, negative, defensive. 

You can never do anything.

You can never do it all, alone.

A footballer is not considered a superstar by playing alone in the field. His star shines bright when playing with others.

Could it be, you have not fulfilled your purpose yet because of how you treat people around you? 

Find the worth of everyone around you, you'll be surprised,  they make the cord stronger. They build you. Two is better than one.
